Application for First-Year Students

U.S. residents applying as first-year students can submit either the Common Application or the Coalition application, both of which open August 1. For Early Action (EA), applications must be complete by November 1. For regular decision, apply by our priority deadline of January 15.

Application for International First-Year Students

International first-year applicants should apply using the Common Application.

Application for Transfer Students

The deadline to apply to transfer for spring 2020 is November 1. Transfer applications for fall 2020 will open on August 1. Review the transfer website for detailed information on the transfer admissions process.

Over-60 Tuition-Free Degree Program Undergraduate Application

The Over-60 Tuition-Free Degree program reflects the University of Delaware’s commitment to encouraging adults to continue their studies on a part-time or full-time basis. To be eligible for free undergraduate or graduate tuition, Delaware citizens aged 60 or over must apply for admission to the University and be admitted.
